<title>Jamey E: Wow! I loved Jim Knight&#39;s explanation of the public voice and the private voice. The private voice is so attuned to vulnerability. Listening, as an equal, means your creating space for people to be vulnerable.</title>

<title>Jamey E: I wonder if the &quot;Thank God I&#39;m here&quot; attitude that Ernesto discusses is just armor against another person&#39;s vulnerability. As in, &quot;I&#39;m uncomfortable with your vulnerability and so I&#39;m going to fix you.&quot;</title>

<title>Jamey E: What&#39;s next: The use of the word &quot;servant&quot; doesn&#39;t sit well with me. I think we have to be aware of the collegial dynamic that exists in one&#39;s school already - servant can feel like your someone who can be taken advantage of or walked on. If the school climate is dysfunctional, it can feel demeaning. </title>

<title>Collaboration, to me, feels like such a buzz word lately. I&#39;ve realized that I haven&#39;t quite taken the time to pull apart what are the elements of effective collaboration. I wonder if, as a coach, the power dynamic also shifts the context of collaboration (as in the stances of coaching?). What is the difference between collaborating as a coach and as a colleague?</title>
