1. Jin comes to america and talks about all the times he's moved. Herb Lady tells him he can be anything at the price of his soul. He starts attending a new school and instantly doesn't fit in. He is bullied by his "friend" and avoids the other Asian student because of a rumor.

2. Suzy is an Asian girl in the class and Wei-Chen is a new student who shows up towards the end of the section.

3. This section is important because jin and Wei-Chen are about to become friends.

He announces his new name "the great sage equal of heaven".He learns that he is receiving a death penalty but due to his practices he cannot die. He uses his practices and makes all the other gods fear him.

2. The Monkey king meets his creator, tze-yo-tzuh, and denies his everlasting reach. The monkey king is shown that he can't run from tze-yo-tzuh and says he can take him. So... tze-yo-tzuh buries him under rocks for 500 years to prevent kung-fu.

After talking about girls with Wei-Chen, Wei-Chen starts dating Suzy. Wei-Chen accidentally volunteers to take care of the class pets with Amelia. They get locked in a closet together and Amelia ask if Jin likes her. Then Jin asks Amelia out and is happy all night.

2. We learn about Amelia and meet Jin's friends more deeply.

3. This section is important because we get a deeper look at the characters and meet Amelia.

He is sent on a quest and finds the monkey king and tells him that he must return to his original form. The monkey eventually agrees and becomes a disciple

2. Wong Lai-Tsao is a monk who has great faith and is chosen for a quest.

3. This section is important because it made the monkey come to the realization that it's okay to be yourself.

2. Danny is Jin after his transformation.Greg is Amelia's friends who doesn't approve of Jin.

3. This section is important because it merges the Jim and Chin-Kee story.

3. This section is important because Jim is able to be himself and friends with Wei-Chen and it ties the all three stories together.
