I've both learned and gotten a good feeling from working with groups like the American Red Cross, Minds Matter and Free UK Genealogy with programming, web security and other tasks.

There's such a wide variety of opportunities out there, from using what you already know, to learning something like the MicroSoft Power Platform or SalesForce, that you have a lot of choices.

Another great benefit to this is that you can work with people all over the world, too.
