When I gave them the drink and said thank you, they smiled and looked really happy. It made me realise that small actions can make someone feel appreciated and seen :))

I feel a sense of satisfaction when holding the door for them, feeling that I have done something kind. Not only that, I also made their day!(who entered through the door I held but can't say due to personal reasons)
