Q: How does the achievement of one of the economic goals impact/interfere with the success of other economic goals?

A: Economic efficiency could interfere with economic equity, because sometimes the most efficient way is not the fairest way, and vice versa. For example, in theory, communism is supposed to make everyone equal. However, as many communist countries found out the hard way that it’s not so efficient.

Norway's economic goals are valued very highly at 0.94 because it's a high-income, high-development country with very good schooling. Norway is the orange line on this graph, showing that it is higher than every other country shown.

Chad's economic goals are valued much less, hovering right around 0.39, because it is very low income, not very developed, and has very low schooling. Chad is the green line on this graoh, and as you can see, it is lower than virtually every other country in sub-aharan Africa.
