Family Background: My family is quite a big family. I have Mom and Dad who taking care and love me since I was born until now. I am the oldest from 6 siblings. My dad works for the Government under the Jabatan Kerja Raya(JKR) in Klang. My mom have a small business. She sells Nasi Lemak in the morning and also sells kuih-muih.

We go there for a picnic and spend time together. It is very highly recommended because the place is clean, fun and suit for family day.

1. -Leiper's Tourism System Model (1979) has 3 geographical elements which are Tourist Generating Region (TGR) where tourist live and travel demand originates. It also drives push factors like economic status and leisure time. It determines travel motivations and capacity such as major cities in developed nations. --Second, we have Transit Route Region (TRR). The journey intermediary space connecting origin and destination. The TRR lead transport infrastructure quality affects accessibility and making sure of safety and efficiency dictate relative distance. From that, it will become an attractions themselves.

   - Thirdly, Tourist Destination Region (TDR) where tourists visit and tourism supply concentrates. It offers pull factors like attraction and culture and also site of concentrated environmental impacts. For example, beach resort and cultural heritage sites.

2. The push factors operate in TGR like boredom, stress, or bad weather that make people want to leave home while pull factors in TDR like nice weather, beaches, or interesting culture that attract tourists want to go the place.

3. Tokyo, as a developed city (DC), attracts tourists through modern culture, technology, shopping, and business events supported by its strong economy. In contrast, Langkawi Island(DVC) draws tourists with natural beauty, beaches, and local heritage. These differences show how higher economic development in Tokyo promotes urban and business tourism, while Langkawi focuses on nature and cultural-based tourism.

4. Tokyo faces spatial planning challenges like overcrowding, limited land, and balancing modern development with heritage sites due to its urban and business tourism. Answer : The mapped tourism resources attract visitors by showcasing Italy’s rich historical heritage, unique architectural landmarks, scenic waterways and world-famous cultural events. These attractions provide tourist with educational, cultural and leisure experience, making Italy a highly appealing tourism destination.

• Question 2: Which category is most dominant in the area?

Answer: In Italy, cultural and Man-made tourism resources are the most dominant due to the abundance of historical sites, iconic monuments and cultural heritage attractions.

• Question 3: Propose one new tourism product based on your map.

Answer: One proposed tourism product is a “Historical and Cultural Heritage Tour” that connects Rome, Vatican City and Venice, offering tourist an immersive experience into Italy’s history, culture and architecture.

Explanation maps: 

At Pantai Cenang, coastal erosion happens due to strong waves and storms slowly wash away the sand. Buildings and the activities near the shore make the erosion becomes worse which can harm the beach and also tourism.

There are also happen a water pollution in Pantai Cenang such as rubbish and waste from tourist that cause water pollution. Pollution water is so dangerous and affects marine life and makes the beach become not attractive anymore.

Other than that, The mangrove forest at Sungai Merbok is losing habitat due to land clearing. Mangroves protect the coast and provide homes for animals there. Losing them will disrupt wildlife and the environment.

Last but not least, Kilim Geoforest Park in Langkawi protects hills, mangroves and wildlife. It also allows people to enjoy nature while preserve it for future generations.

Rome have a famous ancient monument name Colosseum. The colosseum made mainly of stone and concrete . The Colosseum was built nearly 2000 years ago during the time of Roman Empire. Colosseum famous among student because it’s give educational value where students and tourist comes just for learn about ancient civilizations.

• Asia- China (Great Wall)

China have Great Wall where tourist called The Great Wall of China. This place have mountain scenery where the wall winds over step mountain, because of that The Great Wall creating beautiful and dramatic scenery especially during sunrise and sunset. Usually, tourist come visit because they want to enjoy the vibes during sunset and sunrise.

• Africa- Egypt (Pyramids of Giza)

People around the world were amazed with Pyramids of Giza because the monument are very old. It was built over 4500 years ago which makes them feel mysterious and special. The fact, the efforts to complete the Pyramid of Giza are they hired a thousand of skills workers, builders and laborers to work together to make the pyramids using stone blocks and simple tools.

• North America- New York, USA( Statue of Liberty)

The Statue of Liberty located in New York Harbor. It was a gift from France to the United States in 1886 to celebrate freedom and friendship between the two nations. The Statue of Liberty designed by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi. It symbolizes liberty, democracy and hope. The Statue of Liberty also have historical importance where it was a gift from France to the United States in 1986.

• South America- Peru(Machu Picchu)

 In Peru, there’s have a place named Machu Picchu where it is famous among tourist. It is famous because of scenic beauty where it’s a breathtaking views especially during sunrise and sunset. Tourist often visit here because they want to enjoy the view and create a memorable experience.

• Australia- Sydney( Opera house)

The Sydney Opera House is one of the most famous landmarks in Australia. It is located in Sydney Harbour and also known for its unique sail-like design. This place is very popular with visitors because people who visit here be able to go inside and take guided tours to learn about its history and design. Tourist also can gain experience by watching a performances like opera, theater and also concert. They also can simply walk around the harbor to enjoy the amazing views of Sydney and the Harbour Bridge.

• Antarctica- Antarctic Peninsula

The Antartic Peninsula is the northernmost part of Antartica and is one of the most visited areas of the continent because it is more accessible from South America. The features of this place is it have a stunning landscape where it covered with glaciers, snow- covered mountain and icebergs. Many tourist visit here because they want to see the scenery and wildlife close.

 Tutorial Week 13

From Week 1- 13 there are a lot of things that I learned from my beloved lecturer, Dr. Norizan binti Musa. At first, I was clueless for entering this subject because I thought I won’t understand or go with the subject, but as time goes by I start to like this subject and go with that. Dr. Norizan also give a lecture with her own slides which make me easy to catch up and understood. From didn’t know to create a maps, now I can create a map by myself because of tutorial that Dr.Norizan gave to me and my classmate. Dr. Norizan such a good hearted because she never scold or mad at us, she even slowtalk with us whenever we don’t understand about something. Dr. Norizan never let us feel left out, she’s cared by asking are we okay, are we understand about her speech which make me more amaze about Dr. Norizan. I hope I can get an A for Geography Tourism during final exam. That’s all. Thanks a lot Dr. Norizan for teaching me with such great patience throughout this semester.

Dr. Norizan didnt give the lecture about topic 5 for this week because she give a talked about our group assignment. She taught and handle our group assignment so we wont do any's wrong. Because of not enough time she give a notes slides so we can read and understanding the concept which is very good to everyone. Based on slides, I understand about the factors of influencing the demand for tourism service. For this part, it's divided into 5 parts which economic factors, social and cultural factors, cultural interest and fads, technological factors and political and environmental factors.

We make a farewell celebration and have a potluck. Look at the biscoff cake.. So yummyyyy.. and my clasmates, thanks a lot for the cooperation from week 1 till week 14. They look sooo comel... And not to forget how beautiful Dr. Norizan is Masyaallah.. She look cutesy as fairy because of her outfit .. She look young wearing earth tones. And our theme yesterday was a EARTH TONES.
