Sailors could use them to see if there was something up ahead during a storm, or if there was fog.</li><li>Secondly, the telescope has lead to the invention of the binoculars. It could also be connected, in some ways, to the GPS and other devices.</li><li>Lastly, there as many different kinds of telescopes that are used for many different purposes. The radio telescope can detect radio waves.</li></ul>]]></description>
