He was born in La Lagon located on the border of France and Spain. He is the middle of three brothers in the family. His older brother, Simon, as well as Martin, is engaged in biathlon. And the younger brother, Bris, works as a ski instructor. At the end of 2017, Fourcade's autobiographical book "My dream of gold and snow" was released. In his autobiography, he talks in detail about his life, his formation as an athlete, relations with other biathletes. In the equipment he was helped by such companies as: Anschütz, ELEY, Rossignol, Rottefella, one way, Odlo, Julbo.
