         <description><![CDATA[<div>The American Dream is freedom of being able to get wherever you want to be in life no matter where you come from or how you look or how much money you have. Everyone has equal rights and equal opportunities the only thing that holds you back is your mindset. Of course there are minor setbacks such as the greed and selfishness from others but it's mainly your mentality and how far you wanna go. But there is no real definition of the American dream because everyone has different back stories and different places they wanna end up in life such as different versions of success. Some just want peace and others want money and riches but it differs. The definition to the American Dream&nbsp; even dates all the way back in the declaration of independence when it was first influenced to the world and has been Americas standards and always will be.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My American Dream is having peace and to leave the most positive impact behind I can. I also want to be able to make sure my mom lives rent free and debt free for the rest of her life as well as also being closer with god. I believe money is root to evil but its the thing is that keeps you alive because of the need to buy the basic essentials to live.&nbsp; My dream is to make it one day as the man my grandma knew I could become and donate money to places that need it as well as giving to my mom and family for taking care of me. This is really important to me because I want to make myself, family, and god proud and even make sure that my family doesn't have to worry about money for generations to come.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For my interview I interviewed Miss Mitchell. She has met a lot of people who went through struggles and hardships and heard many different backstories. Her definition of the American Dream means there  is opportunities and goals that are obtainable through hard work and faith no matter where you come from or how much money you have. She grew up around coaches and sports so as she grew up she got inspired to work in the sports industry. Her American Dream is to have healthy family, friends, and no financial stress and hopefully build her own family one day.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>"Living In America", James Brown stated many times about how he's proud to live in America "Say it loud, It'll make you proud" which shows the pride that you get from living here. He then says how nice it is here and you don't even need to come here for the promised land but you still may find it on your way. As he sang in his song he said "You may not be looking for the promised land, But you might find it anyway, Under one of those old familiar names." He tells you about how there's travel and work and all the opportunities and even says you can work overtime for even more money if you wanted. He explains how living here is where you need to be to live any life you want and to be able to become what you want because of freedom and opportunities.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The chapter im using that supports my thesis is chapter 1. George states "Ok Someday- we're gonna get the jack together and we're gonna have a little house and a couple of acres an a cow and some pigs and--- An, live off the fatta the lan." They kept talking about this a lot because lennie liked hearing the story like it gave him motivation. Steinback reveals that the american dream could be able to achieve if you work hard enough but it also shows a side of what happens when you fall short of your dreams. But then again this doesn't mean your always gonna fall short because how ever much energy and time you put into something the same amount will come back in return.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Adam Barone goes on to explain his definition of the American dream such as "The American Dream is the belief that anyone, regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into, can attain their own version of success in a society in which upward mobility is possible for everyone." He even says that "The American Dream" has a deeper meaning to its tenets going all the way back the declaration of independence "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." He goes on about how their are advantages and disadvantages to the American dream, for example some cons are the reality of the American dream often falls short of the idea itself and that since prices and inflation are up now the American dream seems less attainable. On the other hand some pros to the dream is that it promises freedom, equality, and peace, the whole American Dream really gives people motivation to get up and get it done it even gives them the power to take charge of their own life. The American dream mainly gives people motivation to take control and charge of their life and carve their own version of success, and even though everybody has their own different view on success and their "American Dream' this motivation concept influences the whole world.<br><br>https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/american-dream.asp</div>]]></description>
