<title>I allow many more make up and retake opportunities. I have switched to more of a growth model with grading. I am also emphasizing to the students that trying is as important as getting the correct answer.</title>

<title>I have become more flexible in terms of the deadlines for assignments. Also, I have used different platforms to grade the students. I plan on grading the students more on their classwork and participation in real time rather than assigning work with a deadline.</title>

<title>My pillars for grading has been built on equitable mastery of content that tries to reach students where they are. It has moved away from deadline driven, capitalistic/corporate &amp; competition educational practice. Education is not a race to the top but an experience of growth. </title>
