Here we are with the last quarter for the school year. We started this with BIOLOGY!!. We have tackled the basics of this branch of science when we were in grade 7. We discussed the Digestive System on the first week. Ma'am gave us a more detailed knowledge of how food break down and turn into energy that helps us throughout each day that we go through. On the second week, we discussed the topic about Cell Cycle and Reproduction. In here, we tackled about the process and stages of meiosis and mitosis. For our 3rd and 4th week, we discussed Genetics and Heredity. This was the time when we get to cross-breed traits, use the Punnett square for monohybrid and dihybrid. For the 5th-7th week, we tackled about Biodiversity and Ecosystem. We also tackled about human activities that affects the food chain and food webs in each ecosystem. Biology is indeed a nice branch of science, with us studying how organisms live, it was and eye-opener for me that having such balance with nature will surely bring us good results.

The topic that affected me the most was about the human activities, although we really didn't focus on that because we focus more on the food web. I think that us humans really do need to take care of our nature. Yes, we really can't avoid the usage of plastic and non-biodegradable items, but we need to at least lessen the use of them. We may think that it won't be much of a change, but it helps. I do also love how there are such possible outcomes from the traits of our own parents. If we alter at least one or two traits in our genes, we may not look like what we are today. There are still more to learn in this world, and I'm craving for those knowledge and information.

I really am thankful for Ma'am Genel for teaching us all the knowledge she knew, without her, we will not be able to understand these things, and we will not be able to keep up along with all those hardships and tasks. I think she did apply all our criticisms about her, so I don't know what to say. Nevertheless, I am deeply grateful for all your hardships, Ma'am Yutuc. I do hope to see you soon.
