Gloves and apron worn as PPE. Sectioned using ‘hot cross bun’ and worked through each section in diagonal layers. Thin enough to see through to make sure there was full coverage. Tied the rest of the hair in a side pony tail. I separated the the hair into three sections and curled each of them using curling tongs. Secured each curl and left to cool. Whilst cooling I made the pony tail into a bun. When releasing the curls I combed the wave shape holding down with my fingers. Each wave was pinned to secure. When I was happy with the shape I hair-sprayed and removed the clips.

Used 1 part powder to 2 part peroxide as specified in the manufacturers instructions. Gloves and apron worn throughout service. Section a cm of hair each time, then halved it, then wove the hair to be bleached. Using a pin comb I folded my foil over the pin and placed it right under the root. Applied the bleach a couple of millimetres from the root and worked my way down. Used the pin comb to fold the foil up, on the sides and a little bend at the top to prevent product leakage. During this time I checked on the colour to make sure the desired results had been made. Then washed out thoroughly, carefully taking the foils out then conditioned. Smooth blow dry and straighteners. I did one row clockwise, one row anti clockwise moving up the head for movement. At the front I have done to pin curls standing to frame the face. I brushed them out to style. For the Victory Rolls I got a section of hair from the side parting, to the crown then down towards the ear. I back combed the section until it stood up on its own. Then smoother the hair with a brush. Then using two fingers curled the hair in. So you couldn’t see through the roll I smoothed the roll down and the back of the head and secured with clips. When working on the left I swooped the hair forward turning my finger up, find my guideline and cut. I do this until hair falls from my hand. I do the same on the right side but swoop the hair with my fingers pointing down. When I am finished I checked my balance. This is my forward graduation finished. 
I then begin on my profile. I take a thin bit of hair on either side of the parting starting from the front of the rad, using my original guideline I cut at 180 degree, I continue this until I reach the crown of the head. Now I section up the sides of the head and begin to work in orange segments for the long graduation. Starting from the middle I bring up the hair at 135 degree angle from the head. Before cutting I turn my hand straight then cut. I work around the back in these segments walking around the head as I go. For the sides I use the same technique. But I leave a bit of length at the bottom so I don’t cut into my forward graduation. I cross check by lifting sections up at the same angle I cut but section across the head. 03.06.20

I took a bit of hair at the crown of the head and back combed them pinned at the back. I then took two sections of hair from the front of the head at the left side, leaving bits of hair to frame the face. I start to twist the two sections. Every time I bring the bottom section up to twist I pick up extra hair lifting it all up. I make sure this twist is at the level of the pinned hair at the back. When I ge to the right side again I leave a bit of hair to frame the face and hold the twist with a bobble. I then gently pull the twist to soften the look, and pint the twist where I want it to be behind the head. I then bring the rest of the twist round and tuck it under the twist I’ve just secured.
