My expectations of homework have shifted. I’ve been doing if they don’t finish in class it’s now homework but going forward I’m going to focus more on in class work and learning. I’m also going to use exit tickets to assess if that grasped what we’ve been discussing.

I would say what I encountered today was some helpful ideas to incorporate TEKs for daily lessons in a fun way that will be impact my scholars more and they may remember what they are learning and use those skills. I didn’t think about vertical learning and now I will use that method.
