After two years of debating she then went on to star in her own Netflix documentary to raise more awareness to cases like hers. She now speaks for the wrongfully accused and publicly shamed to help fight the public from repeating her history.

Knox has been trying to reclaim her identity as a normal person. She has two kids (daughter and son) and is a wife. As of 2024, Raffeale Sollecito is 40 years old and is currently a computer engineer in Milan. He also has a book available for purchase called Honor Bound released in 2012. He‘s also currently somewhat relevant on social media but doesn’t seem to want to discuss much of the trail anymore.

Raffaele Sollecito was accused of murdering his girlfriend’s (ex now) roommate. He was found guilty but in 2011 him and Amanda were released from prison.

Raffaele is a vegan he is not public. He does not like being out in the open his Instagram is private. Raffaele Sollecito has mostly kept a low profile after his legal issues with Amanda Knox. He has worked on personal projects and occasionally talks to the media.

After being the lead prosecutor in the Amanda Knox and Rafaelle Sollecito murder trial Giuliano Mignini is still a prosecutor in the Italian law system. Even after arguing against her freedom Mignini and Knox have formed a friendship. Knox reached by sending him a note through a priest she met in prison. This started the exchange of holiday cards, letters, and pictures of family. At a reunion in 2022 Mignini met Knox’s husband and daughter. Mignini said “ we have different ideas about the trial that involves us, but now I have a good opinion of her”. He still believes Meredith did not reciben justice. He is working on getting a street named to honor her in Perugia.

Sollecito is now a software engineer in Milan. Sollecito has stated that due to the notoriety of the case, it destroyed his life in multiple aspects, including the ability to get a job, as a simple Google search by his potential employer would reveal Sollecito's involvement in the case. Guilty or not, the chances of an employer taking an applicant who was convicted of murder-even though they were acquitted —are extremely low. Nonetheless, he is employed and has also had the chance to meet with Amanda and her family, including her husband and two kids. Sollecito speaks highly of Amanda and her family and said they stay in contact with one another.

Sollecito continues to distance himself from the allegations of murder, but is involved in the world of true crime himself, despite being a private person. Sollecito’s life may have been in shambles years ago, but it appears it’s back together, as he has a job, a wife, and was acquitted of all charges.

Rafaelle Sollecito, since being accused of the murder of Meredith Kercher, has moved to Lisbon, Portugal and is currently a cloud architect. Even though him and Knox had broken up during the trials, they still kept in touch over the years and even planned to meet up. They eventually did meet up 15 years later in Italy. Sollecito explained he was very excited to see her again after all those years and thrilled to meet her kids. He even came out with a book back in 2012 titled “Honor Bound: My Journey to Hell and Back with Amanda Knox”
