Although repetitive activities seem to be advantageous to some extent, they still make mistakes frequently in speaking (perhaps for the L1 interference), and their parents do notice these. Though, some stronger learners find drilling tedious and they require more explanations about the form and meaning of the grammar points being taught without much drilling.
