         <description><![CDATA[<p>Setting a timer and allowing all kids to go and use the restroom. Everyone needs to be back within that time, if not they lose privileges for the next day. If they are acting up as well this privilege can go away. </p><p><br></p><p>This has helped with constant bathroom use and rarely are kids needing to go for emergencies </p>]]></description>

You may need to adjust the rules for specific kids. </p><p><br></p><p>Have an emergency protocol in place for students to communicate if they need to use the restroom urgently.          <title>Naming Pencils</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I have 6 pencils (marked with a tape like a flag), that are on magnetic clips on my white board and kids check them out by writing their name on the line next to where the pencil goes. </p><p><br/></p><p> I also started naming the pencils and writing it on their flags.&nbsp; This has been SO helpful! They take better care of the&nbsp;pencils when&nbsp;they have been personified like that. Plus, it's pretty hilarious at the end of class when I'm looking for one of my pencils and the kids start looking for "Carlos" and when they find him on the floor, they shout "Who left Carlos on the floor like that!"&nbsp; </p>]]></description>
