Wow the energy of the performers was astonishing… they way they took up their solos with intention and moved around the stage. Loved the use of the chairs and props and it was a completely different use of the Verhalenhuis space than my regular church day! Thanks for a great night out!

Great voices and lovely mix up of translations and the orginal songs. The harmonies were a delight to listen to. Second half had more scene switches, which was a great continuence of the show.

It was a great rendition of all songs! The story telling was so captivating, it just lures you in. At one point they were singing a lullaby to me but most of the times I feel like just standing up and dance waltz. Great show!

This was an amazing production with extremely talented singers. The combination of the translations of Brel's work into English and Dutch were captivating and some songs in the original French were just deeply moving. An exciting evening at a wonderful location. Than you so much Verhallenhuis in Haarlem for hosting such a captivating program. I will definitely be back to see events you sponsor in the future.

All the singers were amazing and I really loved the piano accompaniment as well. The energy was beautiful and I felt fully sucked into the emotion of each of the songs. Very fun. If I had one point of feedback it would be that the piano occasionally drowned out the voices a little bit, but that could have been in the specific spot I was sitting or the fact the room is quite small

Loved the song with the little whizzer sound… the pianist had it in her mouth and was playing both at once! She was incredible! It made me laugh so much!

A masterclass in musical storytelling indeed… Philippe was in his element with such characterful delivery, expression and audience interaction. Cecile served dulcet lullaby vibes in her gorgeous numbers. Thankyou to Jonas for making the kids laugh so much with his coffin song - You are an icon! Liesbeth… wow I am in awe when you sing Carousel every. Single. time. And Lori on keys… an impressive marathon of flawless flying notes delivered with comedy, and passion!

Amazing show, really touching and engaging. The performers were giving it their all. The changes in the language made it very accessible to understand the lurics for those who dont command French. Beautiful!

Charming is the word that best describes my impression of this performance. I was charmed by the songs, by Brel (who I knew limitedly, but for whom I now have a deeper appreciation), charmed by the pianist, and of course, the four singers, who, each in their own way, displayed talent, vulnerability, and a lovely intimacy and connection to the audience of the night. In addition, their clear affection and mastery of the material was wonderful to witness. Moving and again, charming. Congrats! -Barbie
