         <description><![CDATA[<div>The second issue I researched had to do with the debate on whether Thorium should be used in nuclear reactors (material science). Thorium is much more common on the crust of the earth than Uranium; however, it is much harder to use in a nuclear powerplant. Both powerplants have the potential to provide the majority of our demand for energy. My argument is that both Thorium and Uranium reactors should be used, but more development should go into the use of Thorium.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One issue going on in the field of aeronautical engineering is the debate on what engines are more efficient. Two of the most known engines would be the Bell Nozzle and the Aerospike. Both engines have pros and cons but more research is needed to figure out which is better and for what scenarios in spaceflight. My argument is that aerospikes need to be developed more since they are much more efficient at every altitude.</div>]]></description>
