To identify our teaching style and share our ideas about our role as a teacher is also really important. Jigsaw reading and onion ring activities are also effective in terms of sharing our ideas and learning our colleagues’ points of views about young learners characteristics. I also like Chant and Clap/Act activity as it will be really suitable for young learners. They can have fun during this activity. Moreover, they will be really enthusiastic as they like being physically active in the class. Today we focused on developing students’ oral skills. In addition, listen and do activity is really nice because we related the activity with our course books and we had the opportunity to see different ideas while our colleagues are presenting them. Jamboard is a new tool for me. Lastly, in order to develop oral skills, we prepared nice lesson plans by using songs and chants. Differentiation is also an important focus of today’s session. We should always consider diversity in our classes. Warm up activities, discussing pupil’s speaking difficulties and how we should deal with mistakes etc are all applicable during my PDC sessions. Using dialogues effectively is really important so we can also deal with it during my PDC meetings. We can observe our coursebooks and adapt it in an effective way. Of course, shared reading is very suitable for my students. As long as I apply prereading, whilereading and post reading steps properly as we practiced today, it ll be really effective for my students.  In that way, I can make reading an enjoyable process for my students  and enable them to understand the text very well. 
Binglish text and shared reading were really interesting and beneficial for my lessons and PDC meetings. I will definitely apply shared reading activities for my students. Also I will try to practice Binglish text and bottom up/top down activities.

Primary school teachers always try to maintain a balance between students’ behaviour and acceptable behaviour and sometimes it is really difficult for them to achieve this. For example, teachers may have some classroom management problems. Primary school students need to be active from time to time as they have difficulties in sitting and concentrating throughout the lesson. So they need to internalize some acceptable behaviours. In order to achieve this, teachers can set some important rules with students at the beginning of the term. Students’ participation is really important while setting the rules. Moreover, positive feedback can be a nice solution for these kind of challenges. For example, every week if my students have acceptable behaviours in my lesson, we play a game at the end of the lesson for 10 or 25 min. Last year, I had an online course about adult training, andregogy. Running dictation was also emphasized there and I had the opportunity to participate in this activity actively during today’s session. I really enjoyed it a lot:)
There are lots of elements that affect classroom management and I want to deal with them during my PDC meetings. For example, setting the instructions properly is really important as we discussed today. (Preparing the lang., using sth to attract attention, announcing the purpose of the activity, etc.) Moreover, I will focus on how to manage and wrap up the activities and how and when to use settler and stirring activities for my PDC sessions. We covered some effective ideas to be able to get and hold the attention. Managing feedback is also really important in terms of classroom management. Sometimes we need to use positive feedback to get the attention and maintain the motivation. In addition, today we focused on types of assessment and guidelines for developing child-friendly tests. These topics will be really beneficial while I am planning my PDC meeting.

Today we focused on formative assessment and I had a chance to learn the importance of formative assessment and how to use it during my lessons and PDC meetings. It is a part of any educational curriculum and a chance for us to give a feedback. We learned formative assessment techniques and internalized them by examples. The whole session was really beneficial for me in terms of planning my presentation and PDC  meetings.
PDC sessions will be really beneficial for the teachers in my local area. I thank all teachers will try to improve each other. They will share their problems, solutions, ideas, etc. The meetings  will help teachers build good relationships. Owing to PDC meeting, I will have a chance to improve myself in terms of many aspects like other participants. It will definitely contribute to my and participants’ professional  development. All the things that we have learned are applicable to our real classroom environment.
During our PDC meetings, I had a chance to find anwers of all the questions that come to my mind. So I don’t think I will have a big problem while conducting my PDC meeting. In case I have any difficulty, I will try to keep in touch with my group members.
