This is an area we need improvement, we need to increase marketing. Our community and industry partners need to become more aware of what is happening in CTE in Pike County. I think that we could use more partnership with our funds so we can go to more work events and we could go on educational trips that would help us with the real life world and a trip that we can be hands on with so we can learn how it works. SVHS does amazing with showing us how to do things and learning us life things however, we need more hands on learning. We also need more funding and donations for more tutors for our classes and new class room books and possibly new updated school desk so while we are learning we are also comfortable.

Without having the opportunity to review the CLNA document in its entirety, I do not feel I have sufficient information to literately answer this question. As our area has had to transition from being primarily coal based and ancillary jobs associated with coal; other business has become a necessity in order to ensure our area residents do not have to move away in order to make a livable wage.
