The rest is salty or frozen. According to a report released by WWF, about 1.1 billion people face water shortage in the world. The report also indicates that 2.7 billion people experience the problem of water shortage in at least one month every year. We all know that water is a precondition for human, animal and plant life. With worldwide population increasing 80 million people every year, nations need to take action to solve a problem which will only worsen. Every drop counts. Because of this reason, we want to promote our students’ awareness of the importance and value of water and make a good impact. As it is said on The European Union Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC) “Water is a heritage which must be protected and defended.”. World water Day will be celebrated on 22nd March. Students will surf on the net to get information about water footprint. Students will create their own posters about water.
April: 
World Health Day will be celebrated.
Students will introduce their findinging about water footprint on school bultein to take their friends’ attention
The impact and importance of water will be discussed with students.
Students will gather their water bills and talk about them. They will have a brain storm to find out to reduce their footprint. They will prepare a mind map.
May:
Partner schools will be divided into groups. Each group will be work on a quatoe about water. One school will start a story about .The second school will finish it. The third school will draw Pictures related with the story. The forth school will dramatize it.
June:
Ss will compare their water bills with their previous ones.
