Mass is a measure of inertia.

I saw mass in the activities I participated in when pulling the cloth was easier when there is nothing on the cloth because its mass was less then it was when there was stuff on top of the cloth. The mass was less when there was nothing. This relates to Newton's first law because since it is showing how it stays at rest or stays in motion.

This was in motion because we where moving the hoop by pulling it. This relates to newton's first law of motion because the hoop wasn't in motion until it was acted on by an unbalanced force which was me pulling it.

It wasn't in motion so therefore it was at rest. This refers to Newtons First Law of Motion because an object at rest remains at rest because the hoop and marker where remaining at rest until an unbalanced force acted on the object.
