In my opinion. Free speech is a fundamental right, but it is not absolute. There must be limits to protect others from hate speech, defamation, and incitement to violence. Balancing the right to expression with the responsibility for its impact on society is a constant challenge.

I think free speech is a right and everyone should speak and share thier opinion , but we need to be careful where and when we share our opinions bcs not everyone is open to different perspectives..

Personally freedom of expression is not absolute, but must be limited by morality and justice, so that it does not turn into a tool for injustice or sedition. Words have weight, and a good word is charity, while a bad word may destroy societies and stir up conflicts. For this reason, Islam has set controls that protect rights and preserve human dignity, such as prohibiting slander, backbiting, and gossip I respect all opinions, but if you really think it should be absolute, it should be for a few ، cuz not everyone controls their mouth, words and actions.🙂

I believe that free speech is a right that everyone should have. However, there should be lines not to cross otherwise it'll be a disaster, and we can see in the world we live in how this right have given a voice to reckless animals to hurt and degrade others in the name of freedom, pus if you think about it no one really have that right "completely" because one way or other you're tied up by a few chains between government or religious beliefs of others, or the Dogmatism of the society you live in that refuses any new ideas because of Customs and traditions , which leaves you scared of speaking your mind so there isn't really no free speech.

I see that free speech has to be truly “free”—allowing us to express our opinions as we like, without objection from others. Of course, I don’t mean that we should violate others when expressing our opinions, but when it comes to ideas, they should be respected, whether people like them or not.

Honestly I see that there's nothing totally free in this life, everyone is possessed by a desire, a goal or an object, so there will always be references, in other words defined limits, defined by whom? is a heck of a question to ask, well, by religion beliefs or other things, besides, we cannot speak about things that we cannot comprehend, those things are often beyond these limits, likewise, the future, the afterlife, and things as supernaturals, ghosts maybe, things that cannot be logically or scientifically explained.

This rule is applicable on anything, we need to set limits or follow existing ones.

I believe that free speech should have reasonable limits. Absolute free speech grants anyone, regardless of expertise or understanding, the ability to voice their thoughts on any given subject. This often leads to the spread of misinformation, harmful rhetoric, and even incitement to violence.

On the other hand, a more structured approach to speech ensures that informed voices stand out amidst the noise of falsehoods, allowing facts to be clearly distinguished from fiction.

Setting boundaries for free speech is essential—but what should those boundaries be?

You should be free to speak on a topic as long as you possess genuine understanding, certainty, and the ability to support your claims with evidence. Speech should spread knowledge, not harm. It should be rooted in logical arguments, free from fallacies, and contribute to meaningful discourse rather than division.

So free speech is a cornerstone of any free society but it’s not absolute aaaand there have to be limits becuz speech that incites violence spreads dangerous misinformation or directly harms others can’t be protected without consequences and without boundaries free speech can become a weapon rather than a right buttt those limits should be clear narrowly defined and not used as an excuse for censorship

Goal is balance (protecting expression while preventing real harm)

"Free" in speech doesn't stand for defending immoral thoughts that decrease human dignity.but speaking freely without interruption and being heard and not attacked for simply giving an opinion.so yes it should be limited,but it doesnt restrict the whole free speech, instead respects common sense and universal values.
