A Calorie Deficit is where you eat and/or drink fewer calories than you burn. Being on this can be very helpful if you stick to it. A 500-calorie deficit is a good amount because it isn't too much, but if you eat a lot then I recommend 300 or less and make your way up as it gets easier.

If you eat junk food and do not focus on what eat, this is for any diet but this one if you eat McDonald's worth 2,500 calories you won't see a change fast and could possibly lose muscle with the fat. this is because you aren't giving your body the nutrients it needs so it can build that muscle while losing the fat. this is a harder diet but if you keep up with it and do it right this can work very well.

There was not 1 person that created the calorie deficit. But Counting Calories are a big part of the deficit, that was invented by lulu hunt peters. Counting Calories is where what ever you eat and drink or consume you counting the calories of all the food and drinks you consume. this is very beneficial for the deficit because if you around 3,000 calories and go on a 250-500 cal deficit, you can watch what you eat and what you need to eat easier and have a chart of what you ate so you make better decision and help the deficit

Yes, it does exist and works well. it might not be the most known diet plan but if you do it right and not give up it will work great. you can also have a calorie increase if you a fast metabolism and need to gain weight both ways are hard. Its also called a cut and bulk method for lifters because the bulk is gain as much weight during a lean and or dirty bulk. a cut is lose as much fat as possible with keeping the muscle and being as safe as possible so not, not eating for days or eat less than 1,000 calories a day.

Pros- Do it right, make sure the calories you intake are as much as your body needs to lose fat and keep the muscle.

Cons- can be hard for people that want to lose weight but love eating it harder because they don't intake the same amount. hard for the people that don't eat much and need to gain weight but need to force the number of calories they need for the day.
