This is not only harmful to them but also to us because we eat the fish and whatever they have consumed will now be inside of us and can harm us. we can remove the waste by limiting that amount of plastic we use and getting rid of it correctly. If we all made an effort to clean up plastic waste there would be a big reduction in plastic waste.
3. all of the waste in the water has different densities and this has an impact to what water level the waste is on.

It is VERY important to remove ALL the waste from the water because it is putting marine life in jeopardy and it's not fair to them because they are simply trying to survive. In addition, those who eat fish (I'm allergic), they could be risking their health as well because they don't know what that animal consumed before they ate it. We could remove it by sending teams or volunteering to go to places like this and clean it up.
3. Some places in the vast waters don't degrade plastic as fast as others, so I want to say that the places that have plastic floating on top, is what is not degrading.
