For 2019 the Portugal government plans to reach an economic growth of 2.2%.
This article reminds me of class material because, of all the good that is coming to a country such as Portugal, and the new opportunities their government are giving to civil servants and in helping families with transportation.

The state department agency has dispensed $22.7 billion dollars a year in grants around the world.
In previous class discussions countries such as Japan seem to have a similar connection as to this article where global competitiveness seems to be the same in seeking help from economic actors such as the United States.

Now that we must think about what the economy defines, we also must understand what the systematically change our beliefs and instead of just having our high degree of humility; talking about where we are headed but as well as describing where we have been. Gathering from this we come from a perspective of knowing what the economy really versus what it is developing too and understanding it more in the future.
