Some of the things they taught you was to box, wrestle, foot races,and gymnastics. He spartan boys lived and trained in buildings called barracks.
 In Athens Boys were taught at home by their moms or male slaves until the age of 6 or 7. Women educated there daughters  till they were 15 and ready to get married.  Some slaves in Athens had many different jobs some of them worked in the mines and others.
