Through my learning experience regarding injuries to the upper extremity, I felt that the Google Presentations presented in class established a solid foundation of knowledge for the unit. For example, the Google Presentations allow me to organize the notes I need to learn in my own document. Also, these presentations often present visual diagrams that help me to better visualize the injuries and to see which specific areas are being damaged when that injury occurs. This is something that I have used throughout my academic career and through the many years of using it, I find that it maintains its helpfulness in highlighting important pieces of information.

Through my learning experience regarding injuries to the upper extremity, Quizlets were one of my favorite learning resources to use. Quizlets are a highly beneficial studying tool that I used frequently to help memorize diagrams and important vocabulary. More specifically, the Quizlets have an option called "Learn" which takes you through each vocabulary term in the set and asks varying questions to help you memorize them. This specifically helped me with memorizing diagrams like the muscles of the wrist and hand.

Through my learning experience regarding injuries to the upper extremity, videos that display the injury or treatment of the injury enhanced my appreciation of the injury and the treatment of it because it teaches me the process that takes place to treat those injuries. The Mallet Finger video is an example of a video that provided me with a helpful visual of how that injury occurs and what is actually happening to the finger. The live surgery videos are also helpful because they first show what injuries require surgery in order to heal and it shows for example how a tendon tear would be repaired.
