         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is Seowoo Park's response.</p><p><br/></p><p>My key takeaway of this this Chapter 2 is that we need to create our own values and be compassionate.</p><p><br/></p><p>The message that resonated with me the most is the lesson I wrote in question 1 because it allowed me to realize that I follow society's values as well.</p><p><br/></p><p>I can relate to Mitch's life of being influenced by society through also being influenced by what society urges us to do.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Rebecca's Response</p><p><br></p><ol><li><p>One key takeaway I got is about creating our own values and growing with our own standards instead of the standard's made by those around us. </p></li><li><p>The message that resonates with me the most is when morrie knew that mitch was sad because he was living by the standards of the world. SO, based on that message, I learned that we should not lean and make ourselves worried because of standards of others. </p></li><li><p>I relate because sometimes I tend to want to change and make myself better to fit in with those around me.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Kevin's Response</p><ol><li><p>Morrie's method of "Detachment". I got that it doesn't mean neglecting your emotions, but to fully understand or experience them but choosing to not let them control you by mentally stepping away from them </p></li><li><p>Morrie talked about the idea that conforming to society can sometimes  brainwash others to set their priorities as money, fame, or approval. This message stood out to me as it relates to something I personally struggle with, perfectionism, which is focused on doing every work primarily to get the approval or praise of others</p></li><li><p>I find a relation between my own life to  an idea Morrie talked about in this chapter (I mentioned in number 2). The idea of society brainwashing to set priorities only on wordly things shines light on something I personally struggle with</p></li><li><p><br/></p></li></ol>]]></description>
