Shania is always busy. However, I trust her with all my heart; she is my ride-or-die sister.

Newton... is Newton. He's a goofy guy, and that's about it.

KDC has made me grow as a leader and definitely shown me that a bit of compassion and humility goes a long way.

My social media profiles are really important to me, I like being seen for being me. I want for people to immediately get an idea of who and what I am :))

I have been a member for over 5 years now. I joined as an 11-year-old in September 2019, and in my time as a Demolay, I have served as a preceptor, marshall, and chaplain.

The membership bar was recently awarded to me in June 2024.

I now understand teachers, it is SO hard to keep our juniors quiet and in line ;v;

Being in SHIELD made me realize 3 things:

1.) I am NOT good under pressure...

2.) I am okay with handling my batchmates, and I am AMAZING at being the "strict" Shield member.

3.) I am NOT fit for the layout department, I am better at managing the students and the happenings of the org.

So why do I like these media? I think these media platforms are a way to express myself and show people what and who "Neo" really is. I find this to be the reason why I like platforms such as Instagram so much. Additionally, these media platforms also serve as a tool to connect with other people who are far away from me, like my friends in Manila or New Zealand.

I like the media because it serves a great purpose and gives me a sense of comfort. In a way, media brings out the real me and connects me with people I love who are too far away for me to contact face-to-face.

Media serves an amazing role in keeping not just me but everyone informed; as long as we know how to use responsibly and access information, then media affects not just me but everyone positively.

Are these effects healthy? In my context, yes, I do believe it is healthy. The availability of access to information (as long as we know how to fact-check) should be considered as a healthy effect of media. This availability allows me and other citizens, especially tweens and teens, to become more socially aware. The younger generation needs to understand the world. They can do this with the presence of media. So yes, I do, in fact, believe the effects of media are healthy in my context, as it has helped me be more socially and politically aware of not just the Philippines but the world's situations.
