  • For June, we're considering a focus on SCOTUS or Skrmetti, but open to other timely ideas.​

• Continuing immigration storytelling:​

  • Exploring a potential story featuring faith leaders in Chicago; story about our Bakersfield litigation case and probably a few others - lots of really powerful story leads! Partnership with Multimedia on these.

  • DACA stories to mark the 12th anniversary - potential explainer or even an FAQ for the series

• Dobbs anniversary:​

  • Emily P may write a reflective piece.​ Currently developing an outline.

  • There's also an advocacy event happening where 200 abortion storytellers will be meeting their Congressperson so will explore any blog opportunities there.

  • Asked Andrew to see if Deirdre would be interested in doing a piece

• Juneteenth - potential piece that talks about how the government is trying to erase history

We will have our content planning meeting for July/Aug in June but for the blog, I anticipate Back to School content where we can talk about anti-DEI efforts / targeting universities/professors/student protestors.

What actions can play take over the summer?

Acq: testing updated urgent style package updated with 100 day copy

DRTV: filming at least one new spot of 4 this summer around MILCK's new song, with her on-screen and in the VO; scripts are in review and will be circulated soon. Tone is similar to our post-trump spot. Other concepts we want to test involve different artist ambassadors and approaches to get traction on a broader mix of networks

• re-up the "we're not moving to Canada" type stuff / lean into AMERICAN Civil Liberties Union

• Pride

  • Aesop’s Queer Library elevating ACLU content & fundraising

  • Spencer's Round Up & Donate Promotion of ACLU in-store (600+ stores nationwide)
