Q: Do you think that OCD could manifest itself within the treatment room? How would you deal with the situation if it was affecting the treatment process? (Floris)
A: I would say it is possible depending on the severity of the disorder. I would not interfere with the patient until he is calm. Then, I would ask if everything is ok and if he is alright to carry on. Suggesting to have a chaperon could be helpful as well.

Q: Which kind of traumatic event can increase the most the probability of getting OCD? (Marco De Lorenzi)
A: It can be anything which have a strong impact on the person in a particular context. Most common examples are: Death of a loved one, relationship problems, being victimised or car accident.
| Very interesting and well structured.
| Q: Is it more described in publications what could go wrong during a pregnancy that could cause OCD? If so, what kind of advice could we give a pregnant patient that could keep them healthy? (Hiisha)
A: Because of all the worries and anxiety of the baby well being. If you are subject to have OCD for any reason, beign pregnant is another factor which can trigger or aggravate the condition. To help with this, it is simply recommended to talk with you relatives and a healthcare practitionner about it. Then as for OCD, perinatal OCD is managed with CBT, physical activities, relaxation and drugs.
R: Hi Gervais, Thank you for the answer! I would not have thought of it myself but now that you said it it really makes sense!
Q: Which are of the brain are targeted with DBS?
