Afterwards, the liquid is then pumped into electric heaters and go into a cooling pipe to end up mixing with pure Carbon dioxide. Next, the Carbonated water runs through pipes and go into to a mixing tank, where colouring, syrups and flavour are mixed to create familour drinkables such as coke, mountain dew or sting. Subsequently, the product are filtered and conduct into bottles or cans.

A glance of the picture reveals the production of carbonated drinks. Overall, there are 5 stages, commencing with the water cleaning process and culminating in the packaging of the drinks.

To begin with the first stage, a man-made factory will transfer the source - raw water - through a filter, then a water softener, added with chemicals and pumped to the 2nd stage. The second stage is about heating evaporation and carbonation, the water go through an electric heater, later then treated by a cooling pipe, and carbonated by a huge amount of carbon dioxide. Moving on to the 3rd stage, the carbonated water now mixed in a tank, along with syrup, coloring and flavours. Just like that, in the 4th stage, the filter does its job and the drinks are made, filled in bottles and cans. Ultimately, stage 5 is where these carbonated drinks get packaged and delivered to supermarkets.

The flowchart provides key information about the carbonated drinks making process.

Firstly, raw water from outside comes into the factory. It goes through a filter, then water softener and some chemicals are added. After that, the water is pumped to the next stage.

In stage two, the water is heated by electric heaters. Then it goes through a cooling pipe, and carbon dioxide is added. Now, the water becomes carbonated.

Next, the carbonated water goes to the mixing tank. In this tank, workers add colouring, syrup, and flavour. Then the drink is filtered again and goes into bottles and cans.

In stage five, bottles and cans are packed into boxes. Finally, the boxes are put into a truck and sent to the supermarket.

In conclusion, this process starts with cleaning water and finishes when the drinks are ready for the market.

The diagram illustrates the various stages involved in the production of carbonated drinks, from the initial water treatment process to packaging and delivery to supermarkets.

Overall, the process consists of five main stages, beginning with the cleaning of raw water and ending with the packaging and distribution of the finished product. The steps include physical, chemical, and mechanical processes to ensure the drinks are safe, flavoured, carbonated, and properly sealed.

In the first stage, raw water from storage is passed through a filter, and then softened using chemicals. A pump then moves the treated water to the next stage. Following this, the water is heated using electric heaters, then cooled in a pipe before carbon dioxide is added, resulting in carbonated water.

Next, in the next stage, the carbonated water enters a mixing tank, where colouring, syrup, and flavourings are added. The mixture is then filtered again to remove any impurities. This leads into the next stage, where the drink is filtered and filled into bottles and cans.

In the final stage, the bottles and cans are packaged into boxes, which are then loaded onto trucks for transportation to supermarkets.

To summarise, the production of carbonated drinks is a linear and systematic process that incorporates water treatment, carbonation, mixing, and packaging, ensuring the drinks are ready for retail distribution.
