After a failed government takeover, his parents moved them to the Americas making him a Scottish immigrant. He was a poor boy and started with a bad job. He worked his way up the job latter starting in Pittsburg, which was where his family lived in the Americas. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first notable income began when his boss at the railroad company informed him about the sale of shares, causing him to invest. This led to his interest in many industries. Carnegie used a strategy called vertical integration where he controlled all aspects of the steel industry. He mined the iron, treating it, and made it into the steel he was selling. He had power over the whole steel making process. This made the costs of steel cheaper and meant more profits.</div>]]></description>
