Through this activity, students learned that being a responsible citizen means not only caring for people, but also protecting nature and the environment. They became more aware of how small individual actions can contribute to a cleaner and healthier world.

This meaningful activity helped our students develop environmental awareness, responsibility, cooperation, and sustainable living habits while actively participating in a real-life citizenship practice.

My students created many different products using various waste materials, including decorative objects, paintings, robots, ships, etc.

For the students of Suphi Öner Primary School, which we designated as our "Sister School" in the 2025-2026 academic year, our Deputy Principal Yunus KARATAŞ, our Head of Maritime Studies Demir Can BİLİCİ, and our students completed the construction of a playground frame in the schoolyard. In this activity, which we carried out under the theme of "KINDNESS," our students learned this value firsthand as part of their Social Responsibility and Projects.

A good person treats others with respect, kindness, and understanding. They respect the rights of their classmates, listen to their teachers, and follow the rules. These behaviors help create a safer and more peaceful school environment.

The positive habits gained at school also influence an individual's future life. Students who support one another, show empathy, and take responsibility become valuable members of society. Therefore, schools play an important role in raising good people.

In conclusion, school contributes to the development of individuals both academically and morally. The foundations of being a good person are largely built at school, and these values guide individuals throughout their lives.

At our school, together with our classmates, we prepared an announcement board about May 9th eTwinning Day and our eTwinning project. We celebrated May 9th with classroom activities.

I felt proud when I completed my kindness action and saw its positive impact.

It was nice to work together and make a positive difference in our local area.

I shared kindness with people around me and saw many smiles. It was a wonderful experience.

When we think of doing a good deed, we usually picture helping a friend, volunteering, or donating. But honestly? Taking care of the Earth is one of the most selfless and important acts of kindness you can ever do. It is a kind of goodness that doesn't just change one person's life, but literally saves the entire planet.

We also joined the environmental awareness events organized by the Turkish Ministry of National Education and had the opportunity to briefly introduce our project to our Member of Parliament, Governor, and Provincial and District Directors of National Education.

This meaningful experience reflected the values of the Türkiye Century Maarif Model, encouraging students to become responsible, environmentally conscious, and active citizens through real-life learning experiences.
