I knew that I was going to be a teacher as my career for as long as I can remember. As a kid me and my friends would play school at my house and it was my favorite game to have pretend students and be their teacher. Sometimes I would even make my siblings and grandma be my students and make them call me “Miss Ruler” based off a children’s book I loved. I think teaching is such a rewarding career because you get to see your students thrive and achieve success. I appreciate and look up to each and every one of my elementary school teachers they are the basis of my education and everything started with them. As I mentioned earlier in my family portion I absolutely love kids and i’m obsessed with their sweet little souls I just see so much potential because they have their whole life ahead of them I just want to be that positive role model in their lives for them to look up to. Elementary school teachers have such an impact on these kids that they may not even realize. I cant wait to have my dream career and love my job when I grow up because it has been something I have always wanted to do. I’ve been so blessed throughout my life to have such amazing wonderful teachers that have made me even more excited to be a teacher one day! (WC:255)

One of the reasons I want to travel to all 50 states is because first of all I want to say that I’ve done it but second of all I’ve already been to so many and there's a story and specific memories that come to mind when I think about certain states and I want that for all of them. 2 summers ago I went on a huge road trip with my family yo illinois and it was one of the best experiences in my life. We had so much fun and it's so fun and exciting experiencing all the states with the people you love. I just am a strong believer that you don't have to take some huge exotic vacation to have a good time, going a few states over can give you new experiences and opportunities without even traveling too far. I am really looking forward to traveling to the east coast seeing the atlantic ocean and countless other sights on the other side of the country. Being able to take my family to mt favorite spots in the future is going to be so awesome and I really look forward to that. You can have a whole new exciting adventure without even traveling too far and that's so crazy and exciting to me. I can't wait until i accomplish this goal in the future!

It's a little book we receive when we turn 12 and hopefully finish by the time you are 18 it is full of activities to do and things to accomplish. There are 8 values and around 7 things to complete for each value and then finally a project at the end of each one that is expected to be 10 hours long. I have enjoyed working on my personal progress over the years learning so much, building friendships and working towards my goal. When you finish the whole book you get a beautiful necklace called a young women's medallion. It may not mean much to a lot of people but to us its a symbol of all the hours of hard work. (WC : 139)

My family means the world to me and to be able to have one of my own one day is going to be incredible. I am obsessed with kids which is why I want to be an elementary school teacher so the thought of being able to raise kids that are my own children one day is absolutely amazing. The whole basis of my church is family because although friends may come and go family is always there. I have such a strong relationship with each of my siblings and both of my parents and I couldn’t be happier. Making memories with my family is my most favorite thing to do. Going on vacations, playing games, going to the beach, going camping, literally anything you could think of is just 10 times better when with your family because laughing together and building stronger bonds is the best thing ever. I am so excited to be able to have my own family to be together with and be able to do these things with. Huge family get togethers and reunions are going to be so fun and I can't wait to be all together with the people I love most in the world. I’m not saying my family is perfect but I never said blood defines a family. Some of your closest friends you may consider family and I love that so much. I think what defines a family is people that are there for each other no matter the circumstances and what may happen in life, they are simply always there. I know everyone gets caught up in their own lives but I feel social media and modern technology allows people to stay in touch. I have made incredible friends over the years that have made such positive impacts on my life in so many ways and I just want to be able to talk about life and send christmas cards and be able to keep in contact. My parents always talk about their friends from high school but I  know I’ll never meet these people because my parents don't talk to them anymore and they lost touch over the years. It would be so cool for my future kids to meet some of my super close friends from my childhood and share stories and past memories. New friends are awesome but there is truly nothing like old friends. These are the people who grew up with you and really know you, your circumstances and your personality the best. I love my friends and it breaks my heart thinking that I may not talk to half these people ever again. I really hope I can try to break the stereotype and keep in contact with all the friends I’ve made over the years. A home cooked meal by her is my favorite and i’d prefer it over any restaurant. I hope that as i get older I can develop some of her cooking skills and be a great cook for my kids. Being able to cook for yourself is such a great feeling and it’s so rewarding knowing you made a good meal for yourself. I've learned so much about Deaf Culture and have grown to love the language. Signing is something that really interests me because I feel like I get to communicate with these people who are so proud of who they are and have such a special love for their community. I really hope that over the years I don't forget sign language and I can continue to sign with people because of how much that class means to me and has taught me over the years. Having a sister how majors in Deaf studies and wants to become an ASL teacher will help me to not lose this skill and be able to exercise what I learn on the daily. Throughout my life I’ve completed countless service projects through my church as well as starting a just serve club at the school. I'm so grateful my church is so involved in the community and service plays a big role in what we do because I think it is so important. I love helping others and showing kindness on a day to day basis in order to show my love for others and this earth. Human nature has turned into being selfish and busy only focusing on your own life but I don't think that is how things should be at all. I know you will life a happier life if you devote time to helping others and making an impact on lives. Making the world a better place starts with a selfless person and positive outlook on life. Serving others doesn't have to be showcased in a huge extravagant way, some of the best service starts from showing people that you love them. Going out of your way to smile at others or helping out your busy mom or doing a small core for an elderly neighbor. One of my favorite service projects has been volunteering at rady children's hospital on their community day. Not only was I there to serve and do my duty but I ended up making so many friends and it was so much fun. I’ve had some pretty incredible experiences over the years and some of my favorite memories have been when I was serving others. Service is kindness and it's something we all should strive to do on a daily basis. (WC: 301)

Looking back at all my best memories is so fun to do and I love having fun videos of my friends and family. My dad has taken home videos of me and my siblings and it’s our favorite to go back and watch us grow up and laugh at ourselves. I really hope to be able to do the same for my kids.Having a collection of some of my most favorite times just makes me so happy and there's nothing I like more. Not to mention all my friends that love being in my videos as well and always remind me to take videos when we hang out so I can put them all together for us to watch later. One of the characters introduced later in the show had this thing where she would always try to do something once a day that scared her weather it be big or small just something to push her out of her comfort zone. I always thought this was the coolest thing and have always told myself I would do it one day, well why not start now? Looking for things to accomplish everyday I feel will help me become a more active person constantly looking for skills to develop or situations to put myself in which will make me less fearful of the outside world. I want to get to the point to where it becomes super difficult to find things that scare me because i’ve completed so much and I feel so successful. I just know that this experiment will make me happier and will change my outlook on life.
