All around the world water is treated in many ways but usually it is treated in a seven step process. The seven processes are ION exchange and coagulation which removes unwanted minerals from the water, the second step is sedimentation which gets rid of the dirt particles. The third step is filtration through layers of sand and charcoal which remove the remaining particles, the fourth step is disinfection. The fifth step is carbon filters which take out the rest of the impurities out of the water the next steps are reverse osmosis and finally storing the water.

Water that the Peel region is using is sourced from Lake ontario. The water from Lake ontario is taken to two plants where the water is processed and then sent off for the people of Peel to use. The water is supplied and treated by the Ontario Clean Water Agency under contract.

Considering the sources available, where do you want to get your water? Why?

Considering that there's many sources of water available like bottled water and different hydro companies that supply water. I would stay with the water that Peel supplies because I trust it the most since I have been using it for the past. There are many water sources that are extremely hazardous to health and I would not want to risk my health for a cheaper alternative.

I would personally stay away from any cheap water supplier because it is hard to know what is in the water and where it came from. I would also stay away from water suppliers that get their water from these water sources which Bay Lake, Lost Lake and Killamey Channel because they are ranked as the worst water sources in Ontario. I also would not want my water from plastic bottles because that is a waste of money and is a waste of plastic which can be harmful to the environment.

Pollution Is a main reason why the water is being affected, its constantly getting filled with waste and killing animals and setryong their homes. With all the waste in the water it would become very hard to clean it and we would have a hard time with the limited water.
