My technique for the feathers was to hand draw them over and over again using a variation of the way shown in the video. I couldn't get the pencil to work even with Prof's help so I had to resort to using the paint brush. You did a great job at capturing the curiosity in their eyes.  The only thing I would suggest is making the colors a bit more vibrant. They are vivid in color to the point, it looks like they are glowing.
