Being allocated groups by the unit leads. I was lucky enough to be grouped with two of my friends, however, because of this it meant we were more lenient in terms of tasks and deadlines. To overcome this we discussed which parts of the assignment we would all like to do and distributed work evenly to ensure that the assignment was done fairly and all members were happy with their assigned sections.

On some occasions, the whole group didn't attend seminars/workshops, so we created a group chat to ensure everyone was still in the loop and engaging with one another, referring to our shared document for any missed information or updates. Having a shared document meant we could all contribute to sections and read over work to make sure it was cohesive, editing and adding along the way. We used Asana to allocate tasks to be completed for the next week, and keeping this log kept each member accountable for what we had to achieve.

Having a group chat, communicating often and having a shared document meant the whole group contributed fairly and reading through each other's work made sure our body of work coincided well. I will be sure to use Asana in future to further improve my time management and organisational skills, especially in terms of meeting deadlines and group work. Time management is something that can always be improved on, making sure any future projects I am collaborating on are are dedicated towards and blocked out will ensure success for myself, there is nothing worse then handingprojects in last minute or having to get an extension.
