I have learnt everything because I explored it all on my old iPad. The light bulb means tutorials and the globe is very body else's game which you can play anytime the plus makes a new project. The smiley face are tutorial projects which are quite fun my only problem is that it gets confusing and it is also troublesome that you can't get the full version. But it is so so so fun and I really really love it and I recommend this app to anyone as it is so fun every time I use it

The skills that I learned was the was to make different. The challenges were to keep up with the vedio and get the right things in my iPad and move it properly. I didn't use my problem solving becase everything went right. I love the learning because it Is so Much fun.

Week One

I didn't learn any

I have learnt how to make various different games in my fifteen minutes. It thought me a bit about coding and how to do it. I also played heaps of games made by random people there games were really fun! When I was coding my favourite game I created was slippery slope it was about a skier and how he had to go down a mountain and avoid different obstacles. I thought the game was really cool. I found it a bit challenging because it was hard to keep up with the video some times. Apart from that I really enjoyed it.

Geometry Dash
1. I learnt how to code and make a cool game and i leant how long it takes to make a good game.
2. Nothing
3. Nothing
4.yes I did enjoiy this style of learning because it is a new fun way of learning
5.Yes how to estimate how much yo do y by or x by

Todey I helped Luke T Luca will and James. I learnt nothing. I have made heaps of geometry dashes and I just continued making an old one. I really enjoyed playing around with sound effects

I have learnt how to do various types of things about hopscotch in 15 minutes and I played a lot of games. One thing I found that was challenging about hopscotch which was when I tried to make a drawing and it didn't draw when I pressed play. One game that I loved playing was a game called slippery slope, it helped me a lot because I learnt a lot in that one game. My favourite game would be geometry dash because it's a real game and Igot to make it and most importantly play it.

GEOMETRY DASH

I learnt absolutely nothing

What I found challenging was the game that I played because sometimes it lagged

Nothing

Yes because it's really fun and creative

Yes how to estimate where your block goes (x and y)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Today I helped Malindu with his geometry dash because it was working properly so I helped him but it didn't really work so I said for him to redo it. I learnt nothing.

I learnt how to add a noise when you tap the screen. You need to press the green button and find the button that says start sound, once you have done this you have a whole range of noises from a barking dog to a laser sound. There are a lot of things that you can choose from so let your brain go wild. I would like to know how to use a joystick and arrows to make my objects move. This would be really cool and would let me make characters move without just tapping the screen. I really look forward to working on Hopscotch and making my own games.

                                      Geometry Dash Reflection

One of the new skills I learnt was that to make something move left you press "change Y by" and press a number depending on how far left you want it. Same with going right but instead of pressing change Y by you press change X by. I found it a bit challenging when the numbers were different on the Iphone to what we had to put in on the Ipad. It was a bit of trial and error. I was quite lucky in the sense that nothing went wrong so I didn't have much to solve or get angry about, so there was nothing I learnt about my problem solving skills. I really enjoyed this style of learning because it was interactive and you can see what you have been working on in a game rather then a sheet of paper writing pages of boring work. There was one thing I didn't learn and that was mathematical skills. I didn't feel like I much in the sense of maths.

                                 Editing Geometry Dash 9/6/17

Today we were making our own Geometry Dash but we had to follow criteria. We had to include one hero (something that jumps over obstacles.) Three obstacles for the hero to jump over. Two actions that the hero does to get over the obstacles and finally a background. I had lots of different colour backgrounds. One of the main things I learnt today was how to add lives. You could put three hearts up in the top corner and every time your hero got hit one of the hearts would disappear. This made the game go for longer and more fun. I also learnt how to make something move faster

Today I learnt that on geometry dash you can just keep copy and pasting the rules so you don't need to keep writing it. I tried this app out before so I knew that you could play other people's games and lose your games if you don't save them. I found making the games without listening to the person talk was really really challenging so I hope I can learn make games or apps without listening to the person. Something Im going to work on is making the games a little quiker because it takes me a while to make a game.
Geometry dash reflections
I learnt that you can put ascore board on, I don't know how to put it on but I know you can. I found acually making the whole thing was challenging because if you follow the things the man says your Geomerty dash won't work. I learnt that if you sometimes try to make it yourself it would work much better, I did that and it works much better then the first time I did it. I enjoy this style of learning because you can make your own things and choose how you want them to move. I think I could use my gaming computer to make a game because I'm pretty confident about my skills.

Geometry dash reflections
Something new I learnt is that youcan stand on things and also add in these things in your game that is a hack. I found putting in the code so you can stand on things is really really really difficult, I still haven't got it yet but that is what I aim to do.

The thing that I found hard and difficult was all the different codes and commands because sometimes it didn't have any of the commands that I wanted. I also found difficulty expanding the grid because it was too short. The things that I learnt today was his to make blocks and object disappear and move to different places and to make things jump, shrink.

Geometry dash reflections

The new skills that I learnt were how to make the triangle appear randomly and to make the triangle repeat all the things you want to do. The area that I found hard doing was to get the maths keyboard because in the maths keyboard it had certain thing that the normal keyboard didn't have. I learn that if you do problem solving you must keep trying if you want to succeed. I really enjoyed this type of learning. I did learn mathematics skills because when you put a negative number the block goes the opposite way. I think I could make a game with more interesting parts added to it.

8/7/17

This time I learnt not much because it was hard to make a number increase to keep track of the score

One final thing i found challenging was playing the games because some of the coding was a bit off.

Geometry Dash reflection:
1. I learnt that you could repeat what you did and change how the object or character.
2. I found actually coding tricky but I think if i had help I would be able to do coding.
3.

Coding was really easy to me as I have already used the app before and the game that I made I didn't find anything challenging as fidget spinner apps are really easy to code. I really enjoyed coding as finding new stuff was really fun and the games online were really fun. I found it really easy to code as hopscotch wasn't suing any of the difficult methods
. Most people around me didn't have too much success with I understand as this was their first time a new experience to them so it is hard but Ifound it easy as used it before.

Geometry dash reflections:
A.I really didn't learn any new skills while making geometry dash on hopscotch as I know a lot about this coding stuff so it was really easy to make and it was basic enough to get me really bored while making it .

B. I didn't find anything challenging when I was coding geometry dash as like my last point it was really easy to use and it felt less skilled than what I make on the app I mean it's easy to set invisibility and jump.

C. No I was not getting frustrated as like my last 2 points it was really easy to use and basically pointless to my skill level.

D. I do enjoy the style of this learning because it teaches us step by step of how to code like noobs first of all and then get more tricky till we get to the point of being a pro

E. I learnt about the meaning of X and Y and how to set the object back to the beginning.

I found it easy to add different obsticals and even though I didn't get a chance to add a background I feel like I have the right idea

Some stuff I already knew was how to make an object move forward, how to jump and how to pick a character emoji or object. Overall I though hopscotch was very simpl If you were following a totorial hopscotch is har though if you are making something off the top of your head. It was also very fun.

Geometry Dash.

Today I tried to make Geometry Dash. I followed the instructions correctly but Hopscotch was glitching and mankind my square drop to the bottom of the screen. This was very annoying because I thought I had made a mistake and watched the video three times to see if I had made a mistake but there was no mistake.

Editing Geometry Dash 9/6/17

Today I changed my Geometry dash game to emoji war game I learnt how to make lives add a background and paste more that one thing at once. I did enjoy this style because it shows you if you don't have any experience with Hopscotch how to make Geometry Dash.
5.

What I learnt on Hopscotch was how to move, change colour, draw and even make your character on Hopscotch. I made a game called Geometry Dash were you are a square and you have to jump over obstacles and if you hit one you have to start over. I found this very easy to make but the playing the game itself is a little bit challenging. I also made a game called Lemon Tapper. I found it a little bit challenging to make a score counter on some of the games. I think Hopscotch will be very I interesting and fun to do. Geometry Dash Reflections

Making Geometry Dash was really fun to make and I really enjoyed making it. I found no difficulties in making this project. It was great to understand how they made the game. I did learn quite a bit of things though like how to move objects, change their position and how to make them invisible. I quite liked the style of learning. It was quite enjoyable to make although it was quite unique. I didn't really learn any mathematical skills since most of them I already knew of. I think I could create anything really. The possibilities are limitless.

I've tried hopscotch and I loved it. I've learned how to make your characters move, spin and well anything. I like how when you progress you get more things. I absolutely loved how you can creat your own world so you could do whatever you want which is incredible in my books. I think hopscotch is a really good thing to choose kids I'm glad mr Shultz thought of this. I want to learn more coding so it may help with my job in the future.

What I learnt with Hopscotch was how you could make things move, change colour and draw to make games, art and other things, you could make anything. It was challenging when you had to put in the code to make things move by typing in certain numbers. I made this game called do not drop the bomb, you had to tap on the bomb so it would not kill the people. It was challenging at times when you had to code the bomb, otherwise it was really cool and it was fun.

                                  Geometry Dash Reflection

Making the game was fun and also a bit challenging. I learnt how to move objects and then make them disappear then move again. What I found a tiny bit challenging was doing the x-by and y-by otherwise it was pretty easy to code on Hopscotch. What I learn is that you have to estimate how fast and slow it goes by playing around with numbers. I learnt that if you go down to negative on y- by you will go down and if you use normal numbers you will go up. Same with left or right. I think that this way of learning was great and it you can definitely make a lot

9/6/17

Today I added to the geometry dash game. I added another obstacle and a background. It was pretty easy to add another obstacle because all I did was copy the other code form the first obstacle and paste it on the second obstacle. How I learnt to do the background was from another game. I had a lot of fun doing it

I learnt how to make a fidget spinner and how to save a girl from crocodiles, i would like to learn how to make a dormitory dash like game. I am looking forward to doing more coding, I learnt ho to make things spin jump and grow, i wanted to know how to make things bigger without having to tap it. I think we should learn how to do coding because a lot of the jobs these days involve coding. I would like to see more coding in the future. I also think that hopscotch is a great website.
This is my reflection.

Damon Astuti

I learnt how to make characters move left and Jump. I learnt how to make a new game which was helpful then I learnt how to do coding on the iPad and. I really won't to be able to unlock those tutorial thing and I also won't to have more space in the hopscotch place, where you make games and I really enjoy hopscotch but it is still really confusing and I hope next session we learn how to do more stuff.

Geometry dash

i learnt how to add skills in the game and how to make the obstacle move towards my playing objects. The thing I found challenging is the part where you have to make the block keep repeating what it does forever. I learnt nothing really or I might of learnt something but I didn't see it. Yes I did enjoy the style learning because we got to play games and make a game. No I didn't learn anything new in mathematical terms. I will probably make a flappy bird style of geometry dash.

This week I learnt how to add a back ground because hunter helped me. I learnt how to how to make your jump shorter so it's harder to play. And I learnt how to get the score up above my game. And I nearly completed making the game. And I helped Stuart. I really enjoyed this session.

William Sophocli Blog

I learned in hopscotch how to make a game. I also learned that you could do free trials and I thought that that was very cool and helpful. I also learned that you can look at what other people have made and you could add things on to their games as that is something I thought was really cool. I really want to learn how to expand your working page and how you do the sound and make everything move.

I also learned that you get notifications. I liked that you can do different things and how it has lots of different features.

I have learnt on hopscotch that you can turn objects into life. You can make objects move left and right, jump, flip, all cool things. I also learnt how to make a game called geography smash( i think it is) you can also make other really cool stuff that relates to coding. You can also make cool objects too move in cool places and go to cool places and you can make characters make other characters (i think.) i think hopscotch will be really fun this term.

Geometry Dash

I have learnt while making geometry dash that you can make the objects jump and move.

I found geometry dash challenging because you have too remember so many steps and if you mess up one it would be totally different from what it is supposed to be.

I cant really answer the 3rd question.

I really enjoyed the style of learning because engineers use this kind of stuff when it comes to building things and moving trucks and vehicles.

I learned some mathematical skills in this.

What i would do i would make all the obstacles and then make the hero of the game and put cool backgrounds.

My facilitate part today was doing another obstacle. Making Geometry Dash was very hard but I am sure that it will be worth it when it is done.
