Hellou, my name is Lili, I am from Regensburg. Since moving here from the other side of Germany I was really overwhelmed in my first semester. From finding friends to how to manage uni life and life in a new city, it’s just a lot. I‘m always open for questions and would just be excited to help you guys and have a fun time.
We can try and figure out things together, be it academics, (study) life or just anything you want to chat about.
I love spending my free time with friends, and also dancing, singing, reading books or going for walks and exploring Lüneburg/ Hamburg. I’m always excited to meet new people and looking forward to meeting you. Come say hi , and welcome to Leuphana.

My name is Lena (she/her) and I am in my 5th semester of studying GESS and Psychology and Society as my minor. I chose this study program because I am passionate about our environment and want to find solutions for human influence on our planet through a social science perspective. I currently work in the Self-Access Center (Selbstlernzentrum) as a tutor and besides studying, I love playing piano in the Big Band, being active in nature, dancing Salsa, and going to all kinds of cultural events here in Lüneburg or Hamburg. Also, as I’m kind of a fashion lover, that‘s why I‘m part of the „Zwiebel“ initiative for second hand fashion. Excited to meet you already!

Katia and Vera

We're Vera (they/them), 23 years old and originally from Munich, and Katia (they/she), a 20 year old from Hamburg.

Vera studies GESS and Political Science and their academic interests are in political sustainability implementation, chemistry, alternative economic systems and queerfeminism.

Katia studies GESS and Psychology and Society and tries to focus their academic studies on the intersection of sustainability and psychology even though their interests are also rather broad.

Katia also deals with such topics in their free time as they are involved in initiatives such as NaPsy (Initiative für Nachhaltigkeit und Psychologie) while Vera loves to do different types of sport, especially dancing, and we both enjoy cooking, knitting/crocheting and reading.

If you want tips for vegan food places in town, bars, beautiful nature spots or how to find sustainable shopping options we might be your people! :D

Hello, I'm Arielle, currently in my 7th semester studying GESS with a minor in Spatial Sciences. My academic journey took an exciting turn when I spent a transformative year in Seoul, South Korea, exploring the intricacies of land development policies and their impact on cities. Beyond academics, my university life is vibrant; I actively engage in campus initiatives like the International Society and Öko-logisch. During my two semesters abroad in South Korea, my diverse interests led me to participate in activities such as a Korean choir, a national Taekwondo tournament, and even working on a French short film project. Now, I am eagerly looking forward to joining the Peer Mentoring Program, where I hope to contribute my experiences and enthusiasm to mentor fellow students effectively.

ich bin Janne, 21 Jahre alt und studiere Uwi im 5. Semester. In meiner Freizeit gehe ich gerne ins Studio 21, koche gerne und mache was mit Freund*innen. Ich gehe außerdem gerne spazieren. Neben dem Studium engagiere ich mich außerdem in der Hochschulpolitik.

Als meinen Minor habe ich Bildungswissenschaften gewählt, da ich später gerne in der Umweltbildung/außerschulischen Bildung arbeiten möchte. Beim Uwi Studium interessiere ich mich besonders für alles rund um Bio und Ökologie. Ich bin leider nur bis Ende des Jahres in Lüneburg, weil ich dann für ein halbes Jahr im Rahmen von Erasmus nach Norwegen gehe.

Ich bin Josi, 20 und komme jetzt in mein 3. Semester meines Uwi-Studiums. Ab dem 5. Semester werde ich aber zu ENVI wechseln. Ich belege im Minor (noch inoffiziell) PoWi und bin bei meinen Komplementären sehr an Kultur und Kunst interessiert. Ich bin in den vergangenen Semestern auf viele Problemchen wie Minorwechsel oder eben die Envi-Bewerbung gestoßen und mir wäre es sehr wichtig, anderen Studis Ängste und Sorgen in dieser Hinsicht zu nehmen, da ich davon überzeugt bin, dass die Leuphana prinzipiell mit und nicht gegen Studis arbeitet.

An der Leuphana bin ich sonst DSi-Sprecherin, also helfe ich bei der Initiativenarbeit und -Orga mit und kann somit helfen, noch ein Engagement an der Leuphana zu finden.

Ich bin generell eine sehr soziale Person und gehe auch gerne mal abends weg, obwohl das seit dem ersten Semester deutlich abgenommen hat. Bis auf Montags und Mittwochs bin ich zeitlich sehr flexibel (Stand vor der 1. Losphase)
