Some thoughts I have are that I like that the California Oddities page in the website includes interesting things like ghost stories and "California Firsts", which I'm assuming are things that have happened for the first time in California, or something like that. I have studied about Japanese Americans in California before in Ethnic Studies, so I am vaguely familiar of the material. Poetry in California also seems interesting to me, because it is something I have never studied before. Art is something I am interested in so poetry and art history in California would probably be of my interest.
