I chose to use the oil pastel techniques from the book to create an image of my old house and muddy puddles. This was my first major art project in Art 2. The critique and rubric results showed my strong areas and my areas to grow. I revised my work by making my stones more darker.

The way an image of artwork inspired me was the fun pop of colors, and I like food. The techniques and materials I applied were watercolor paints to show the mixture of colors. The critique and Rubric feedback results showed my strong areas and my areas to grow. I revised my work by mixing my colors and using more natural colors What I learned from this project was mixing watercolors was a little difficult and making brown is a hard color to make.

What I learned and practiced about oil pastels and mixed media experimentation was about mixing certain colors and using different types of materials to show how they mix them and how nice they look.
