Carlos Egyptian exhibit. The students mummified their own pharaohs, built pyramids to scale, made cartouches  for their mummies and wrote poems in hieroglyphics.

Two (Landry Johnson and Jacob Kirkpatrick) won 3rd place in the individual. One 3rd place team won (Blake Augustus, Landry Johnson, Jacob Kirkpatrick, Nia Ferringo and Troy Bennett).  
There were 36 teams and over 100 students in the competition.  Wow! Great job, Tonya!

They plan to spread the importance of healthy eating and help those in need by sharing "Seeds of Kindness" with the students in their school by giving out fruit & vegetable seeds.

Jackie & Brandon, along with 8 of their students, presented at the Georgia Education Technology Conference "Student Showcase" on Wednesday, November 8th at the GA International Convention Center. For the showcase, students were able to highlight their own personal journey through Invention Convention STEM Design Challenge, Rube Goldberg Engineering Design Challenge, and their work on Digital Citizenship. Nice work!

Once they completed a lesson on aerodynamics and participated in a parachute STEM activity, students were able to experience flying.
