Fitbit.

I am fully aware that pedometers have been around for a while but fitbits are entirely different. Back in intermediate school everybody had them. They tracked your steps and how many flights of stairs you've walked and you set goals everyday. More recently the fitbit is able to track your sleep and you can set alarms. I remember my mum got one as a gift and I don't think she's taken it off since. My youngest sister got a fitbit and she has several different colored bands so that her fitbit can always match her outfit. The first time i saw a fitbit I thought it was kind of dumb. Who would want to be tracking their steps all the time? My opinion hasn't changed.

The IPhone

When I was very little I used to play with my parent's flip phones and blackberry phones. In kindergarten the first iPhone came out. I was much too little to understand what an iPhone was and why it was significant. My parents didn't get the first iPhone, but my grandmother did. She only used it for phone calls. When the generation 3 iPhone came out my parents did indeed get it that, I was in second grade. We downloaded music and games and the phones were always with my parents. 2 years ago Christmas morning I got my very own iPhone 5s. I was thrilled ( but not too thrilled because the iPhone 6 was already out) I got games and music streaming apps and I learned how to do all these fun things that my parents couldn't do. Eventually I got social media. It was so great.

Virtual Reality (Tilt Brush)

Around last year I was bored and clicking through YouTube. I found this video put out by google. It was one of those annoying ads that doesn't let you skip and is a minute long. It was for this virtual reality painting program. It was called Tilt Brush. The video had that cheesy 'inspired' music and had these overly excited actors painting flowers and stuff, but it caught my attention. I started doing research on the Tilt Brush. The software was free, the virtual reality headset was $800. Of course if I did indeed get the htc vive I would use it for more than a painting program. Obviously it was a bit expensive for me and I'm still saving up for it but I got to try it at Microsoft in the mall and it was so cool.
