Communication I think is a great thing to have and understand. It can help build better teams, better yourself on career advancement, and building relationships. But also at the same time Self-Advocacy is also important to empower your self and know what you are worth.

Knowing what learning style you are is very important to building up yourself whether you are doing it for school or outside in life. Knowing if you are for example a hand on person, visual person, listener, is all important. I am more of a hands on learner so I enjoy learning things when they are in front of me and interactable.

I also think this is probably second most important to me. Being able to time manage is everything today. The most important of them all is being able to balance working and being in school. Having good time management skills should allow you be able to study and do work even when things come up and you have to do them.

Reading strategies are important in building the skills required to truly understand and learn what you are intaking. For example, being more active while reading can help you remember more things and be able to apply them. Critical thinking and retention play a big role in the different strategies and help for example me learn more efficiently.

Listening and Taking Notes is very important when trying to understand new material. Taking notes is a very important mechanic that allows for me to organize thoughts and also be able to remember the information and use that information when I need to at a later date in class or whenever.

Test taking strategies are a key step in being able to crush a test and do good on it. I have my own ways of studying for tests and being able to perform and remember what I took as notes and be able to come up with new ideas for the answers to get a good grade. Overall, it is very beneficial to have an idea going into the test and a plan on how you are going to execute it.

Stress is a bad thing. You don't want to be stressed especially during times like taking a test or speaking publicly to your class. There are many techniques I use to relieve my stress like go for a drive or go to the gym. Being stress free leads to a better well being.

Thinking is a fundamental for everything in life. Being able to use critical thinking skills is important as all of the other things mentioned. Thinking comes in many different way but at the end of the day it is for the same goal to understand something better or learn more about something. I use thinking everyday from what I want to eat to working out math problems.

Financial Literacy would probably be my third most important out of all of them. I think one of the most important things out of financial literacy is being able to save money, budget, and spend wisely. Maximizing what you can control and not spend your money aimlessly while minimizing wants and focusing more on needs is a very crucial skill to have.
