The Mehdic gives me an uncertain glance. “They may have had the Buck.” i can see she’s trying to stay calm, but i see her inching away from me. “C’mon. They weren’t that wild. I mean, what are the chances that one of them had it and one of us got it?” she smiles at me… and then coughs, a blue bump appearing on her arm. I look at my arm, and sit up fast, despite the pain. I have the Buck. I reach for my sword, but it’s not there. “WE NEED A SWORD!” i yell. Another Mehdic looks over, and his eyes widen. “CODE BLUE!” He picks up a sword from the wall. The sword is always there for precaution. He runs over. “I’m sorry,” he says, “but you know what happens if you keep that arm.” I nod, and close my eyes, ready for the pain.
