6.        5th century – Saint Patrick’s was born in Wales, kidnapped by pirates and brought to Ireland as a slave. He escaped and went back to his family to became a priest. He returned to Ireland to convert people. He drove the snakes out of Ireland. He preached for 40 years. He worked miracles and wrote about his love of God.  He died on 17th March, 461 and his grave is in Down Cathedral in Ireland.
