The student population is very diverse ranging from family members who have lived in Barcelona for many generations to those who have recently immigrated. The demographics include mostly Hispanic students followed by north-African-countries people and some students from Eastern Europe.

Catalan and Spanish are the most common languages among the students but also an extensive program of foreign language is provided. Students learn English, French and Germany using different approaches such as CLIL.

Through rigorous student-centered curriculum, teachers ensure that every child works to his or her maximum potential. Special attention is given to students with diverse academic, social and language needs. Cooperative and collaborative learning just as project based learning are the main methodology used.
