In terms of individual goals my main purpose is to showcase the importance of a directional vision in company. I would emphasize the focus on being centered in a certain way to make a clear solution for the company. During the meeting I would want to discuss the ideas of either rebranding the company or adjusting the existing product they have to be more competitive in the market. Since I am a member of an Ethical Management department, it is important for me to consider various ethical criteria when it comes to making a decision. For example widely discussed ESG goals and its possible implementations in company. I expect the finance team main concern to be the expenses of further developing ESG management, or the costs of possible ABC Co rebranding, Therefore, the matter of resources is important to be discussed during TFT meeting to ensure that our possible solutions would align with the Finance team accounting and finance reports. Since ABC Co is struggling with the sales and operating profits, it is important as a company to make a solution that will be beneficial both for short term and long term company performances, as the budget we are operating is facing pressure and constrictions. Some of the proposals would be receiving an external financial aid from the banks and governments by showing our intentions and practices already interpreted to fit the ESG goals.

Revenue diversification because ABC can receive income from various pathways through selling different things, which helps ABC to increase profit. However, it may require further market research because the products or services still need to satisfy customers needs and wants, so that customers are willing to purchase it, which means it may increase the operation cost in short term, but if it met the market needs, then ABC will able to achieve higher sales revenue and earn profit.

Another solution can be to develop customer loyalty, which is quite important to keep their customers so that they purchase products or services more regularly, leading to maintaining the sales. Therefore, it reduces the risk that ABC will go into insolvency. Especially ABC should emphasize that all the products or services in ABC are eco-friendly so that it can raise customers awareness and create a positive image to the public, which means it can attract potential investors to invest money in ABC, increase the capital by using internal sources of finance instead of using bank loans.

You don’t have ESG on one side and financial factors on the other.
